Accessibility

This statement describes the accessibility of this website and names openly what is still missing. A statement that only lists successes is not a statement.

Target standard

The goal is conformance level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2. Testing is done with a keyboard, with a screen reader and with automated tools — experience shows that automated checks find only part of the problems.

What is in place

  • Every page starts with a skip link to the content.
  • The interface is fully keyboard operable; the workspace additionally supports

arrow keys and a search shortcut.

  • Controls are at least 44 × 44 pixels.
  • Colour contrasts exceed the level AA requirements.
  • Motion starts only if the operating system has not opted out of it; the

background video can be paused visibly.

  • Zooming is never suppressed.
  • The site remains readable without JavaScript and usable in its essential

parts.

What is still missing

  • The applications behind the workspace are separate programs. Their

accessibility is assessed individually; the current state is documented inside each application.

  • A future windowed interface lacks a full keyboard alternative. That work

takes precedence over new features there.

  • Not all languages are fully translated. Where a text is missing, the German

version appears — visibly marked as such.
